Referrals
You do NOT need a referral from your doctor to see a physiotherapist. Any ACC paperwork and ongoing referral to other health professionals can be completed by your physiotherapist.

Charges
ACC
If your injury is accident related, ACC will partially cover the cost of your treatment. As from 16th November 2009 a co payment will apply as follows:
Initial Consultation $15
Follow up treatment $12
PRIVATE
if your injury is not the result of an accident, charges are based on the complexity of the injury
- Initial - $60
- Follow up - $40 to $60
